Our Practice Mission
At ERA Wellness, we believe in deep, meaningful, individualized therapy that creates real and lasting change on a personal and societal level.
We believe in community, celebration of all humans and families, and the deep bravery and wisdom of each client we meet.
We believe in protecting the rights and privacy of our clients. We believe in their right to self determination.
We believe in the integrity and ethics of this field. We believe that all therapists deserve fair pay and safe and healthy working conditions. We believe that many therapists are not treated well in their positions and we can begin changing that.
We believe in collaboration, unending learning, curiosity, and creativity.
We believe in therapy. We believe in true healing.
Intention
We think through what we do. From the services we offer, to the words we use, to the snacks in our waiting room—we think carefully about every detail. Intention means slowing down, being thoughtful, and creating a space that feels supportive at every level.
People First
We’re not here to chase numbers or meet quotas, we’re here to work with people. Every decision, whether it’s about scheduling, fees, or how we show up in session, is centered on the humans we work with—on both sides of the couch.
Ethics
The foundation of therapy is trust. That means protecting your confidentiality, maintaining healthy boundaries, being honest about what we can and can’t provide, and doing the hard work of staying accountable. We don’t cut corners, and we don’t look the other way. Personal and professional ethics are the backbone of how we practice.
Excellence
Average isn’t good enough when it comes to mental health care. We invest in ongoing training, stay current with research, and seek feedback so we can keep growing. Excellence isn’t perfection—it means a steady commitment to bringing our best to every session, every client, every day.
Our Pillars of Care
Integrity
We do what we say we’ll do, and we do it with honesty. Integrity means being transparent with our clients, our team, and ourselves—even when it’s hard. We lead with authenticity, follow through on commitments, and own our mistakes so we can make them right.
Collaboration
We believe we’re stronger together. That means working as a team, honoring each therapist’s voice, and building partnerships with clients, providers, and our wider community. Collaboration is about listening, learning, and knowing that there is space for us all.
