Kelsey Philippi, LPC (she/her)
Psychotherapist
Reproductive Mental Health - child free by choice & planning
“My therapy style is grounded + conversational. Authenticity + intentionality are two of my core values. Using these as a foundation, our collaboration can create a stable container to do truly deep work.”
I work with adults and couples who are looking for meaningful insight and lasting change.
Many of my clients come to therapy during times of transition or questioning. Some themes include trauma, identity, parenthood (or being childfree), relationships, or purpose. Many clients bring concerns related to navigating burnout, reproductive concerns, or uncertainty about the future.
My clinical training includes a master’s degree from Northwestern University, with additional experience in trauma-informed care, eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness-based approaches, and systemic therapy. I take an evidence-informed, social justice-oriented approach that affirms neurodivergent and queer identities, and is inclusive of clients who are childfree by choice or circumstance.
My work is relational, depth-oriented, and responsive. I believe individual experiences are shaped by broader social, cultural, and ecological systems—including family dynamics, structural inequities, and environmental uncertainty. To support this, I integrate evidence-informed techniques with a deep respect for each client’s pace, complexity, and lived experience. There isn’t a one-size-fits-all path when it comes to therapy.
In addition to clinical work, I serve as a committee co-chair for the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America. My background in ecology and reproductive mental health informs a systems-aware perspective that holds space for both individual healing and collective context.
Outside of sessions, I find restoration in nature and creativity—birding, hiking, pottery, music, and reading. I’m often curled up with a book and a cat in my lap.
If you’re seeking a therapist who brings clinical expertise, cultural humility, and curiosity to the work, I’d be honored to support your path.
